In celebration of the 25th anniversary of our iconic “Colorado” boot in 2016, we invited our distributors in over 140 countries around the world to create a piece of art, using a pair of Colorado boots as their canvas.
At our global brand conference in Michigan last week, over 2000 international guests were invited to vote on their favorite pair, and ultimately, the submission from Mexico won the grand prize of $25,000 worth of new inventory and more importantly, global bragging rights.
“The Colorado boot is a deeply rooted symbol for our brand,” says Dani Zizak, Chief Marketing Officer for Cat Footwear, “Twenty-five years ago, our consumers challenged the status quo in a bold move by wearing our authentic work boots as a personal expression of every day style. This revolutionary idea transformed the rugged boot market, and created a demand for the fashion-driven product our brand is known for today.”
