National Hispanic Heritage Month, lasting from September 15th to October 15th, is intended  to commemorate the contributions and influence of  Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

This year for Hispanic Heritage Month Cat Footwear has teamed up with the Startup To Storefront Podcast (@startupstorefront) with host Diego Torres-Palma for 5 episodes that center around interviewing  Latino Individuals and business owners who are working to build their communities.

Each episode will be released on Startup to Storefront’s YouTube page.  There will also be additional Behind-The-Scenes content on both Startup and Cat Footwear’s (@CatFootwear) instagram page, along with featured blog content right here on the CatFootwear.com.

Founder Fanny Grande was tired of being type-cast and built Avenida to finally provide a place that provides resources like high quality production, distribution  and affordable studios for rent in LA as well as mentorship throughout every touchpoint of the creative process.

A new real estate development space/food hall based in Montebello.  It’s made up of seven repurposed shipping containers, two indoor kitchens, and a beer garden. Founder & real estate developer Barney Santos envisions the venue as an incubator for emerging under-privileged restaurants.
