There are a few things we’re big fans of over here at Cat Footwear, and live music, bold fashion, and giving back to our community are at the very top. We brought it all together on May 18th for our “Fashion Rocks Out” event in our hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
We took over the 20 Monroe Live venue and opened the doors to the local community for a sneak peek of our upcoming Spring/Summer 2018 collection (yes, a whole year ahead!).
We invited some of our favorites performers like JUMP LA (they are hip-hop, double-dutch pros), DJ Adrian Butler, Jesse Ray and the Carolina Catfish, and Flint Eastwood with front woman Jax Anderson (our newest Earthmover).
The best part? In order to get into the event, attendees had to bring a donation item like pretzels, cheese crackers or cash for Kids’ Food Basket, a local nonprofit that helps deserving kids access healthy, nutritious food, while fighting childhood hunger. As a result, our event-goers raised enough to provide over 2000 meals to local kids in Michigan.
The night was the perfect way to illustrate how our earthmovers are bold on their own, but even BOLDER TOGETHER.
