Did you miss out on all the fun in Daytona Beach this year? No worries, we can fill you in.

As an Associate Sponsor of Richard Childress Racing’s No. 31 Caterpillar Chevrolet, each year Cat Footwear hosts a contest where consumers can win a VIP experience in Daytona Beach, FL. In 2017, we launched contests with six of our retailers to give you, the fans, a chance to experience Daytona Beach.

Retailers who helped us to promote this awesome opportunity included Whistle Workwear in Pacific Northwest, Blain’s Farm and Fleet, Theisen’s, Gander Outdoors, Shoe Sensation and Mark’s Work Warehouse in Canada.  Each retailer helped us promote this great contest, and we had a total count of around 10,000 entries!

All 30 guests flew to Daytona Beach, FL for the ultimate experience, including a meet and greet with Luke Lambert, garage tours and a day at the Cat Footwear Airstream for the Super Bowl of racing.

During this exciting day, drivers were in new places, teams had new cars and the pits had fewer people, while retiree Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the Denver Bronco’s Peyton Manning were right in the middle of the action.

It was a day filled with twists, left turns, and a lot of accidents. It was also Danica Patrick’s last race of her career.

Austin Dillon, driver of the No. 3 Chevrolet and part of the Richard Childress racing team was the Champion, followed by D. Wallace Jr. and D. Hamlin.
