In the past, I have spent $300+ on steel toe work boots. The only time I have been impressed was with Danner work boots. Now they moved everything overseas, and quality disappeared. I tried these because I found them very cheap on sale. After 8 months, they finally have blown a whole in the side. I work outside industrial every day. (Mud, gravel, chemical) These lasted a long time. They are lightweight, still good looking after 8 months, and comfortable. I will be buying another pair of these. I just hope that I don't get a lemon pair like some of the other reviewers.

I and one of my coworkers have had these shoes since feb of 2011. Both pair still look and wear great. We wear these about 10 hrs a day in an office/parts warehouse environment. I bought mine after trying several different safety shoes and finding these to be the most comfortable. I did add a cheap walmart gel insole under the shoes factory insole for extra comfort. We are both buying new ones, not because ours are worn out but because we are afraid that they will be discontinued by the time we need new ones.

I bought a pair of these shoes to wear at work. These work shoes were the closest thing to a normal shoe that I could find. They're very light-weight and comfortable, however, I do not believe they are going to last very long. After only 1 week of wear (8 hours per day, fairly light duty), my right shoe is already showing signs of wear. On the inside part of the shoe, just behind the toe, the leather has pulled apart and left about a 3/4" long slash at one of the seams. Also, a lot of the stitching is already looking frayed on both shoes. I really wanted to like these shoes, and I do feel that they are very comfortable, but for the price, I was definitely expecting them to last much longer.
