winter weather
Casual

As the cold season rolls in across most of the country, the unpredictable weather can be impossible, especially in the urban jungle.

Here are just a few Fall/Winter pet peeves we can all relate to:

1. Forgetting to check the weather and wearing your favorite pair of suede boots out in the snow and/or rain.

Dear mother nature, I came out to have a good time and I am honestly feeling so attacked right now.

2. When you finally remember to check the weather and dress accordingly with rain boots & an umbrella but nothing happens all day.

Seriously? We feel you Liz, we feel you.

3. Until you leave your gear in the office to go out after work and get caught in a downpour

Why do bad things happen to good people?

4. Having to run from Starbucks to Starbucks for shelter in lieu of an umbrella.

Starbucks…the magical winter oasis for pumpkin spice lattes & dry hair.

5. Getting sprayed by slush/rain puddles. Thanks Cabbie.

Unlike Reese in “Little Nicky”, there’s nothing angelic about this.

6. Being so frozen you can’t feel your face, hands, or feet.

“Winter is coming.”

7. Followed by that slow, burning, tingling sensation of thawing out.

It’s like you’re on fire from the inside out.

8. Actually finding comfort in that dirty warm air that comes up from the subway vents.

We know Jennifer, we know.

9. Wearing a million layers to go out only to start taking them off in the sauna that is the subway.

Wear all of your clothes. Even your roommate’s clothes. ALL. OF. THE. CLOTHES.

10. You have to talk about the weather with no less than 3 people every day (multiplied by the number of times you take an elevator).

“Looks like a Christmas tree!” No Buddy, no.

11. Neither you nor your umbrellas will find love because you’re too busy being worried about not getting stabbed in the eye by one.

Maybe in the Spring…

That’s why this season we’ve got you covered with a complete line of waterproof and weatherproof options for both men and women to make that urban commute just a little more manageable.  Just because the sky is pouring doesn’t mean fashion can’t reign too.
