All to do with the quality of grip on the outer sole, the SRA standard helps you avoid slip-ups in the workplace. This certification indicates the footwear has held its own during rigorous testing on ceramic tile wetted with glycerol and will protect you from the indignity and potential injury of skidding onto your backside.
The level of slip resistance will be referenced in the product name - it will be either SRA or SRC.

S3 Safety Standards

S3 is the magic number when it comes to safety shoes and boots. This exacting standard means footwear comes with everything you get with S1P – anti-static, resistance to fuel and oil, energy absorbing heels and a penetration-resistant mid-sole – and, even better, you get water resistance to boot.

Materials

Full Grain Leather

We use quality leathers that are taken from the outer-most section of the hide, full grain leather has not been sanded or buffed.

Nubuck Leather

In comparison to suede, nubuck is stronger and more durable, because it is made from the top layer of the hide.

To keep leather in good quality, use polish. If wet, allow leathers to dry naturally. Insert a shoe tree or rolled up paper to help keep the shape when drying. Do not place on a radiator as this may affect the leather.

Dirt should be allowed to dry naturally. Once dry use a soft brush or cloth to remove the dirt. Brush in a circular motion to lift the nap but avoid staying in the same area for too long. Brushing on a regular basis will help to keep the nubuck in good condition.

Construction

Goodyear Welt

Unlike most construction methods, the stitching goes from the upper down in to the sole, making it incredibly durable.

Cement

Cemented construction is the method of attaching the sole to the upper. Once the upper is shaped, the sole is attached with an incredibly strong adhesive to secure it.
