Sub-focus

Spotted: The June issue of Clash magazine places a 'Sub Focus' on the iconic CAT Colorado Boot. Alongside a great brand shoot the write-up reads "Released twenty-two years ago the Colorado was a new model of the rugged boot style that was to gatecrash the '90s. Since 1991 it's taken on a different appearance over a hundred times with varying colour-ways and textures, most recently playing the part in black leather at Alex Mattsson's AW13 presentation' (itself not a far cry from the decade with a heavy presence of baggy shapes)."

Floral Studio

Now appearing on Hypebeast.com, this menswear shoot by online magazine F****gyoung.es featured The Martine Rose x Cat boots alongside Carharrt and Denim Demon, with Hypebeast stating:

"There are already signs that floral motifs have been reclaimed by menswear, recalling times past when pattern-heavy kits were standard fare. That is: ‘basics’ have become ubiquitous throughout men’s fashion, and claims of focus on “fit” and “utility” – without much imagination – have run amuck. Here comes F***ing Young! “Floral Studio” editorial, which showcases the bold floral and tribal patterning of street favorites such as Carhartt, Denim Demon and Fred Perry  Lightweight essentials such as blazers, casual shirts, and chinos are given bright color treatments and properly layered for any given situation
