Lisa Dengler moved to NYC with the dream of sharing what she loves with the world, every moment of every day. Her blog, “Just Another Fashion Blog“, was born out of her love for fashion and over the years it has grown, changed and evolved into what it is today: anything but just another fashion blog. This season, Lisa shows us how she styles her “top picks” from our current Fall collection.

CF: Where are you from, and how has it impacted your take on fashion?
LD: I was born in Germany, and grew up in Canada. I’m not sure any of that impacted my take on fashion – that mostly came from studying architecture and falling in love with  all things minimal.

CF: How did you discover your love for style?
LD: Through photography actually – noticing the correlation between background and what the subject was wearing. 

CF: How did you take your online platform from hobby to career?
LD: I moved to New York, signed with a talent agency, and just got into the mindset that this was a business, and it took off from there!

CF: What is something that would surprise us to learn about you?
LD: I made my own blog – from design to coding and everything.

CF: What is your motto?
LD: Any dream can become reality simply by taking action.

CF: What is your favorite trend or must have item for Fall/Winter 2015?
LD: Actually functional winter boots. I love that it’s a trend, because winter will never be easier.

CF: Describe your personal style in 3 words?
LD: Minimal, effortless, easygoing.

CF: Which pair of #catboots were your favorite to style, and why?
LD: The “Dialog Canvas” boots because I wanted to make them a little girly with a skirt. I love playing with contrasts!
