I know this is going to sound very far fetched but this is unfortunately the truth. My husband is a commercial/residential service plumber. I received a phone call from him a few hours ago that he had been electrocuted. SRP safety manager said "you should have died from this." My husband was trying to clean a drain with his snake and for some reason it went into SRP's electricity box instead. Come to find out faulty unlicensed work was done and caused this to happen. The SRP safety manager assesed the situation and asked what my husband was wearing when this happened. He said rubber gloves, his normal work uniform and his new work boots. We bought these Saturday from Sears. He said the boots saved his life. He was even standing in sewage water when he was electrocuted with atleast 400 amps. I remember reading something on the boot about electrical something or another. I am so glad we bought these when we did because his other shoes were regular non steel toe shoes. Holes in them and not Caterpillar. I feel so very lucky to have made my hubby buy these when he did. He has worn them before but we didn't have the money to buy him new ones and went with something cheaper. This time I said lets get good ones and I cannot thank your shoes enough! The bottom of the boot saved him and your shoes are truly worth every cent and do what they say they should!
