I got these boots about 1-1/2 years ago. They may be the most fashionable boot you could get your hands on! They look great with jeans. The leather is very soft and breaks in nicely. Dont go climbing trees in these puppies. The leather does't like that kind of abuse ; ) While they could have a more comfortable sole, they do break in nicely. The more you scuff them up, the better they look too. Like distressed jeans.

I had the same problem as the other reviewer with the painful seam right on the top of my foot at the arch. I thought this was due to me getting a half size too small though. Anyways, I liked the look of them too much to give up as well, and kept wearing them in hopes of stretching it out. I also would stuff a block of wood in them while not wearing them to try and loosen it up a bit. Something worked, and I can now comfortably wear them for long stretches of time. I also replaced the insole for a more comfortable cushy one which helped the overall comfort. I've had them for a year now, and are probably my favorite shoes I've ever owned.

I think these shoes are gorgeous. The leather is amazing, the style, everything. However, there is one problem. I have high arches on my feet and these boots are definitely not made for someone like me. They have a seam right there and it's killing me every time I wear them. Still, I'm not giving up, hoping that either they will stretch a little bit or my feet will get a dent right there allowing me to stroll in them feeling all pretty! :)
