The best boots ever. I recommended these boots 200 percent if you work on hard jagged surfaces... on a normal decent pair of boots i would have to buy new ones every three to four months but with these boots they last me a little over a year and with the outer sole gone they are still comfortable... thanks caterpillar for making the best boots ever

As a dedicated cat boot user these are my 8th + pair I have had And to date only one month they are very disappointing I have owned several pairs in the past and like them these were very comfortable right out of the box but to being waterproof they are not keeping anything out and I am getting soaked constantly I have never had this problem with my other pairs I have owned also the leather is showing deteration already usually what I see after a year of use not a month. At this point I am very disappointed with these boots . As I use them very lightly for work as they are a safely requirement but do not see any rough work as such .

I have worn variations of this boot since the 8th Grade. It is great as a work boot, and also as daily footwear. I have worked in construction support and landscaping and had the same pair of work boots for 9 years now, and they still are in workable shape. my daily pair however, lasts only 18-24 months at best before i can no longer wear them and have to buy another. I'm about to buy my 8th pair of these and hope Cat never stops making them in black Steel toes (12W) because that is my daily shoe until the day I die. Quick note: in 2003, I had the bucket of a skid-steer land blade-first on my foot at work. I suffered only a contusion, as my Cat Alaska's took the hit and didn't even deform! Best Boots Ever!!!! Ordering Tip: go for the wides, they have more toe room
